I decided to be a girl scout who does typical girl scout campy and silly things, but instead of selling cookies, I only offer people fruit and granola bars. By refusing to sell people their beloved junk food, I am going against what people associate with the girl scout persona, but I'm also trying to promote health and kindness. I'm assuming people will think I'm ridiculous and get mad that they'll have to wait another year before paying $4 for a box of heavenly goodness.
I've got my costume, I just need to get out into the world and do girl scout things. Volunteer work, community building, camping, all that good stuff.
Here's a song that is both ridiculous and helpful for creating my identity:
G.I.R.L. S.C.O.U.T.
She's got a G for generosity
She's got an I for interest too
She's got an R for reliability
She's got an L for loyalty, for loyalty
She's got an S for her sincerity
She's got a C for curiosity
She's got an O.U.T. for out-door life, out-door life
And that's a real Girl Scout!
I'll blog later in the perspective of my actual persona once I have more "real life experience".
