Kinda sorta really getting anxious about the end of freshman year. On one hand I'm super excited to move back home, have a summer full of friends and family and no academics, but on the other I know I'm going to miss this year and all the experiences so much. I won't be sharing a room with Dana or yelling to Marissa through the bathroom. I won't be 5 minutes away from a pool/beach/IV. I won't have the excuse of being a newbie and I'll be expected to act like an adult in my own apartment with rent and utilities and meal planning. Definitely a bittersweet goodbye. I thought I'd use this post to share some of my memories, because I'm in the mood for sappy nostalgia.
First soccer game. Threw tortillas, participated in ridiculous Gaucho chants.
The trusty cruiser that got me to and from FT/campus every day. Except for that one time my chain fell off...
Second night of Halloween insanity. We lost our bee in the DP crowd, but she made it home safely.
Shopping on State Street with my best friends.
Mini cupcakes for Valentine's day that induced a sugar coma.
Fortunately I'll be living with my favorite people next year. But I'm still going to miss dorm life and the excitement of being a first year college student. Not sure I'm ready to mature, but it'll happen whether I'm willing or not!
