One of my favorite places to travel to is Lake Tahoe. Regardless of whether it's winter or summer, Tahoe is breathtaking. I love the forests covered in fluffy white snow and the clear blue water contrasting against the bright yellow sand. I love skiing down the slopes, swimming in the freezing cold water, and spending days relaxing and having fun. I have so many memories from vacations in Tahoe.
I used to go on ski trips with my high school friends and we'd stay in a condo that my friend's parents rented during break. We'd go snowboarding or skiing during the day, and then play cards and sit by the fire at night. Tahoe is where I learned how to ski and snowboard, and even though I'm not very good at either, those experiences will always be a part of my winter memories.
Apparently a professional photographer was taking photos, and my friend found this picture of me. I'm probably going like 2 mph...
I've also gone a few times with my mom, and she's taken me to all the arcades and beaches imaginable. I can't tell you how many useless toys we've bought with hundreds of tickets or how many sunburns we've gotten after spending all day outside. When we plan our road trips, Tahoe is always at the top of my list.
How could you NOT like it here?!
